The point of theatre is to bring a light to this dark world. No matter what happens, the world will always love art and will always appreciate it. It allows people to escape their lives and they are able to forget about every trouble they have and enjoy something. It is pure and can move the masses to riot and rebellion or to self-realization. Theatre is life, love and passion.

the point of theatre is to have an escape. if you don't like the way you are, you get to be someone else. and when you're being yourself in theatre, there is nothing but acceptance, a little pretension here and there, sure, but you are you and that is good enough because it doesn't matter who you are, what matters is if you can drop that to be someone else and do it with passion. theatre is life

Absolutely :D I think we can all agree that it gives an escape from everyday life because, for an hour or however long, you can be someone else - it’s almost therapeutic.

Going on a semi-hiatus for exams.

This means that as of today, I won’t be posting much (if at all) and if I have time to answer any asks, I’ll only answer the absolutely urgent ones. Any submissions, non-urgent asks, requests etc will be dealt with as and when I get some time freed up - I expect to be slightly more active after May 24th, more active still after June 4th, and fully active after June 14th.

Bri will most likely still be around unless she says otherwise.
